Jess and Laney’s wedding unfolded on a picture-perfect February day in Hawke’s Bay, beneath the dappled light of the vines at St Georges Restaurant in Havelock North. The morning began at Black Barn’s boutique accommodation in the Tuki Tuki Valley, where they got ready side by side. In a nod to their timeless style, they travelled in a classic E-Type Jaguar, pausing for portraits in a sun-drenched olive grove before ascending up Te Mata Peak. As evening fell, guests gathered in the courtyard for intimate, heartfelt speeches. Upstairs, the Mezzanine had been reimagined by Flock into a moody, elegant dining space, setting the tone for a long, candlelit dinner that felt both modern and deeply personal.
