ABOUT

I'm Natalie — a photographer, storyteller, and quiet observer of life’s most meaningful moments, based in the Havelock North, Hawke’s Bay.

My love for photography began in high school, developing images by hand in the darkroom — a process that taught me to slow down and truly see. That early passion led me to study at Massey University, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Design (First Class Honours) in 2012.

Since then, I’ve had the privilege of photographing over 300 weddings across New Zealand, from vineyard celebrations to coastal elopements — each one a unique reflection of the people at its heart. I approach every story with intention, care, and a quiet confidence that comes from years behind the lens.

Beyond the camera, I’m a mother to four spirited little humans, and wife for over 13 years to Joe.

MY ETHOS

Photography, for me, is an intuitive practice — one shaped by instinct and quiet observation. I work with both digital and film formats, embracing a balance of precision and unpredictability that gives each frame its own character and emotion.

My approach is calm and considered, guided by the natural rhythm of the day and the moments that unfold within it.

I limit my bookings to just 15 to 20 weddings per year.
If my work speaks to you, I’d love to connect.

KIND WORDS

Thank you so, so, so much darling Natalie. The photos are absolutely amazing - we adore them. We just had a quick flick through last night but we are going to have a proper viewing session with bubbles this weekend. Thank you very much again, you are the best and we will always be grateful to you for capturing our magical day. You made it so special. Lots of love xx
